Meet the team.

Sarah has a background in Children and Young Participation & Engagement and  Youth Work a role she developed into after being an advocate for youth voice.  Sarah was herself a youth parliament member in Lambeth and for Centrepoint.  Sarah has a passion for working with solutions that inspire young people.  Sarah is also the Organisational Safeguarding Lead.

Beverly is a young adult currently studying Law with International Relations LLB at Royal Holloway, University of London. She was a chairperson of the Merton Youth Parliament for two years and won the first ‘Debating Mental Health’ a joint Mind and Facebook programme for young people. She wants to share her exceptional love for reading with young children after using it as a learning tool and escape.

Hi my name is Margaret and I’m a project researcher and youth voice leader here at Exceed Reading Stars. I’m A level student currently studying psychology, sociology and politics. I am very passionate about helping others and giving back to the community. My vision within this programme is to see young people exceed and excel no matter what their circumstances may be.
