The Benefits of our service

  •    Maximising the voice of children and young people

  •    Resource driven

  •    Youth- Led Workshops

  •    Creating training and development programmes

  •    Youth led community engagement projects to create more community cohesion

Exceed Reading Stars has made multiple contributions to the community.

Since January 2021, we have been working with local providers to offer children and young people the best opportunities possible.

Previously, we partnered with Sports City and due to the positive feedback received, our sessions have been further requested. Aside from our main service to children and young people, we have also provided volunteering and work experience placement opportunities to over 60 young people aged 14 to 21 years old.

They volunteer their time delivering our educational support services and holiday programmes. Working with internal and external agencies in the borough, we ensure our work is inclusive and accessible to all.

We have been working in collaboration with local providers in the London borough of Lambeth, namely Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing Association, My Spiral, Lilian Baylis Technology School, Baytree, Ecosystem Consortium and MLCE.

We are continuing to expand our community network by establishing new relationships and partnerships to address and tackle the disadvantages facing children and young people in our respective communities.

This gives us accessibility to reach out to more families, parents, and carers to create a more holistic and community-based approach.
