ABC - Achieving Beyond Capabilities
Designed to address the increasing lack of educational attainment in literacy among children from disadvantaged communities, this free interactive 13-week programme was created to assist children in 3 main areas: Comprehension, Fluency and Vocabulary.

Nielsen’s Understanding the Children’s Book Consumer Survey (2018) revealed that the majority of boys and girls in every age group preferred using and watching screens to reading books. We aim to rekindle children’s love for reading and put them on the right track to reap the full benefits of their KS1/2 education.

We aim to help children identify and understand relationships between words and assist them in identifying the meanings of words independently. Children have been learning the differences between Narratives, Explanations, Descriptions, Comparisons, Summaries and Evaluations
